Lovely spring tea of New Taipei City Tea (NTPC Tea) is fresh on the market. New Taipei City Government cooperated with Caesar Park Hotel Taipei, using the chef’s skills, to combine Wenshen Paochong tea from Pinglin, honey-flavored black tea from Sanxia, and Bi-Lo-Chung into colorful summer desserts. A limited edition of afternoon tea for two, “Fancy Fantastic Tea Set,” is now served at Checkers Buffet, Caesar Park Hotel Taipei. Various dishes made with New Taipei Good Tea will be launched in the dining area., from Monday to Thursday, from today to August 31.

NTPC Tea and Caesar Park Hotel Taipei launched the “Fancy Fantastic Tea” afternoon tea set for two. It is the first time combining Taiwan Tea and French desserts. Tea set dessert includes honey-flavored milk tea scones, fruit tea pound cakes, cloudy lemon tarts, summer tea jelly, and a pot of fresh spring tea. From now until August 31, people can taste desserts made with Paochong tea, honey-flavored tea, and Bi-Lo-Chung at Caesar Park Hotel Taipei on weekdays. At the same time, to provide consumers with a variety of meal choices, the dining area on weekends and holidays also offers dishes such as Tea-flavored Roasted Chicken, Braised Pork Rib Soup with Paochong tea,and Rice with Tea Oil, etc. with more choices.

The tea production area in New Taipei City is about 750 hectares, with an annual output of 400 tons and an output value of about 1.1 billion. Nine major tea areas produce six unique teas, which consumers welcome. Paochong tea is sweet in the throat and emits an elegant floral fragrance; Sanxia honey-flavored tea, which is popular with female consumers; Sanxia Bi-Lo-Chung, made by Chin-Shin-Ganzai, tastes sweet and refreshing with green beans flavor. These three unique teas are widely loved by the public and the chef of Checkers Buffet and are selected and mixed into desserts.

The Agriculture Department stated that New Taipei City Government integrated six unique teas as a “NTPC Tea” brand in 2011. In addition to guiding production areas to promote tourism output value through evaluation and exhibition, experiencing tourism diversification promotion in the tea production season in combination with the origin, moreover, in recent years, through cross-field cooperation, tea banquet tasting meetings, and other ways to strengthen the promotion of consumption and enhance the visibility of NTPC Tea.
