It strictly selected the friendly planting of shallots and added red onions and white sesame seeds. Chin-Li Chen, director of the Pingxi District Farmers’ Association, said that people’s impressions of shallots are mainly fried dishes. The unique aroma of shallots is very suitable for combining baked products such as cookies, pastry, and bread. Whenever shallot is baked, the fascinating smell spreads wildly. It is hoped that through diversified product development, more people can taste the local, high-quality agricultural products of Pingxi.
